My daughter was recently diagnosed with this and has been in therapy a few weeks now. I never heard of this issue until Sylvan brought it to my attention. My question is? She had been struggling with reading and was at risk for being held back a year. After only 6 months of vision therapy, her reading improved immensely and she graduated from her grade to the next one. It also helped her confidence to know that her struggles weren't her fault. It is very pricey though. I think it cost us $4,000 for just 6 months of vision therapy. But worth it for her to be doing so much better at school and in personal confidence.
